Corners bumped, some ware to edges, lacks front free endpaper, title page is fragile with small piece missing not affecting text also an ink stamp. Slight water stain to first and last pages. Twain published a short story entitled A Literary Nightmare , which was a fictional tale about Twain himself encountering an earworm a jingle he couldn’t t get out of his head for days on end. The story was retitled and republished under the name Punch, Brothers, Punch in 1878.
