Terms of Sale

Feel free to browse our stock and make any queries or requests you think necessary; further details of books, more images, and advice across a wide range of fields are available on request.

All purchases are delivered FREE within the UK.

All purchases are packed for shipping to a very high standard.

We are  members of the Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association, also known as the PBFA. We are proud to abide by the codes of ethics and good practice of this great organisation.

All our books are fully described.  In the unlikely event of a purchase proving unsatisfactory, it may be returned, in its original condition, for a full refund. We would ask that you notify us by email of your intention to return within 7 working days of receipt of the parcel.

Our Terms:

  1. All items are subject to prior sale.
  2. All items are guaranteed as described.
  3. Refunds are limited to the original price paid.
  4. Any item ordered through our website, catalogue or other means may be returned, subject to our being informed of this intention within 14 working days of receipt or your purchase if unsatisfactory.
  5. All items remain the property of Mosdell Books until fully paid for.
  6. All packages will be shipped via Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For, depending on the size, weight and value of the book/s. We routinely use Royal Mail for all orders under 2kg, Parcelforce for UK orders over 2kg,
  7. We accept payment securely via PayPal using a credit card or debit card and also Bank Transfer..


UK delivery times are usually 4 – 7 working days.

Items will be sent via standard 2nd class Royal Mail , Parcelforce  services and will require a signature on receipt.


Any item purchased from this website will be subject to the Consumer Contracts Regulations, October 2015. These regulations entitle you to return the item purchased within 14 days of receipt of your purchase. If you do so, we will reimburse all payments received from you. We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss resulted from unnecessary handling by you.  We we will reimburse you within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned them.
