During the years 1603 – 1609 Bacon wrote much and published little, though most of it was given to the world after his death.  Professor Farrington has translated from the original Latin into English three of the posthumous works:  Temporis Partus Masculus (The Masculine Birth of Time), Cogitata et Visa (Thoughts and Conclusions), and Redargutio Philosophiarum (The Refutation of Philosophies).
